Abstract

ABSTRACT

The curriculum changes significantly impact the development of education, with teacher performance being a crucial factor. This research examines the influence of Teacher Working Groups (KKG) programs and academic supervision on the performance of Elementary School teachers in the Pangeran Antasari cluster, Landasan Ulin, Banjarbaru. The study findings reveal that the KKG program has a positive and significant impact (54.6%) on teacher performance, particularly in development, skills, attitudes, and the performance of KKG members. Additionally, academic supervision also exerts a positive and significant influence (57.4%), especially in the implementation of supervision. Furthermore, when the KKG program and academic supervision are enhanced together, they have a highly significant impact (p = 0.000) on improving the performance of Elementary School teachers. These findings indicate that the enhancement of both KKG programs and academic supervision can substantially enhance teacher performance. KKG functions as a platform for development through teacher study groups, while academic supervision assists in improving teaching abilities, especially in the aspect of supervision implementation. This research provides crucial insights for elementary education development, emphasizing the vital role of KKG programs and academic supervision in enhancing educational quality.

Perubahan kurikulum telah signifikan memengaruhi perkembangan pendidikan, dengan kinerja guru menjadi faktor kunci. Penelitian ini mengkaji pengaruh program Kelompok Kerja Guru (KKG) dan supervisi akademik terhadap kinerja guru Sekolah Dasar di Gugus Pangeran Antasari, Landasan Ulin, Banjarbaru. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan bahwa program KKG memiliki dampak positif dan signifikan (54,6%) terhadap kinerja guru, terutama dalam pengembangan, keterampilan, sikap, dan kinerja anggota KKG. Sementara itu, supervisi akademik juga memberikan pengaruh positif dan signifikan (57,4%), khususnya pada aspek pelaksanaan supervisi. Lebih jauh, ketika program KKG dan supervisi akademik ditingkatkan bersama-sama, mereka memiliki pengaruh yang sangat signifikan (p = 0,000) terhadap peningkatan kinerja guru Sekolah Dasar. Temuan ini menunjukkan bahwa peningkatan program KKG dan supervisi akademik dapat meningkatkan kinerja guru secara substansial. KKG berperan sebagai platform pengembangan melalui kelompok belajar guru, sementara supervisi akademik membantu meningkatkan kemampuan keguruannya, terutama melalui aspek pelaksanaan supervisi. Penelitian ini memberikan wawasan penting bagi pengembangan pendidikan di tingkat dasar dengan menekankan peran penting program KKG dan supervisi akademik dalam meningkatkan mutu pendidikan.
