Abstract

This research aims to analyze the role of human resources (HR) in improving the efficiency of loading and unloading activities at PT Pulau Seroja Jakarta port. The study focuses on employee training, performance management, and the application of technology to support port operations. Data were collected through interviews with employees and management, direct field observations, and analysis of company operational documents. The results indicate that effective HR management, particularly in employee training and development, along with the adoption of modern technology, significantly enhances productivity and operational efficiency. Strategic recommendations are provided to strengthen performance management systems and optimize employee training processes to address the increasing competitiveness in the port industry.

 

Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk menganalisis peran sumber daya manusia (SDM) dalam meningkatkan efisiensi kegiatan bongkar muat di pelabuhan PT Pulau Seroja Jakarta. Fokus utama penelitian mencakup aspek pelatihan karyawan, manajemen kinerja, dan penerapan teknologi dalam mendukung operasional bongkar muat. Data dikumpulkan melalui metode wawancara dengan karyawan dan manajemen, observasi langsung di lapangan, serta analisis dokumen operasional perusahaan. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan bahwa pengelolaan SDM yang efektif, khususnya dalam pelatihan dan pengembangan karyawan, serta penerapan teknologi modern, secara signifikan meningkatkan produktivitas dan efisiensi operasional. Rekomendasi strategis diberikan untuk memperkuat sistem manajemen kinerja dan optimalisasi proses pelatihan karyawan guna menghadapi tantangan industri kepelabuhanan yang semakin kompetitif.
