This research and community service project focuses on legal counseling related to traditional farming practices that are still carried out by the residents of Lok Lahung Village, Loksado District. The aim of the activity is to provide legal understanding to the community so that traditional farming practices can be conducted in accordance with the prevailing legal framework while remaining sustainable in environmental and social aspects. The methods used include literature review, field observation, in-depth interviews, and participatory legal counseling. The results of the activity show an increase in the community’s legal awareness, improved compliance with environmental regulations, and the creation of farming strategies that are both legal and environmentally friendly. The implication of this activity highlights the importance of integrating customary law and state law in preserving the environment and ensuring the socio-economic sustainability of local communities.
