This research aims to analyze the influence of normalizing early marriage on the psychological readiness of prospective brides and grooms in rural communities. The phenomenon of early marriage is inherent, especially in rural communities, but we can avoid this by fully understanding the significant negative impact on prospective brides and grooms. In an effort to prevent the crisis of early marriage in society, researchers examined several factors that contribute to society's indifference to the negative impacts on underage teenagers.The methodology used in this research is a quantitative method with descriptive analysis and simple linear regression. Data was collected through distributing questionnaires and case studies to provide a comprehensive picture of the influence of normalizing early marriage on the psychological readiness of prospective brides and grooms in rural communities. The results of the analysis show that there is a significant impact between the normalization of early marriage on the psychological readiness of prospective brides and grooms in rural communities in that social values ​​and norms actually influence the survival of the prospective bride and groom after marriage. This research found that society must be more open-minded and prioritize the lives of minors by providing more education and guidance regarding early marriage, and looking for other solutions besides the causes of marriage at a young age. The conclusion of this research shows that early marriage is influenced by the complex interaction of various socio-cultural, educational, belief and psychological factors. Supportive norms and traditions, lack of parental control, and the psychological readiness of the prospective bride and groom play an important role. This research emphasizes the need for a multidimensional approach and comprehensive intervention programs to prevent early marriage and increase the psychological readiness of prospective brides and grooms.

Abstrak

Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk menganalisis pengaruh normalisasi pernikahan dini terhadap kesiapan psikologi calon pengantin masyarakat pedesaan. Fenomena pernikahan dini sudah melekat terkhusnya pada masyarakat pedesaan, akan tetapi hal ini bias kita hindari dengan memahami betul dampak negative yang signifikan terhadap calon pengantin. Dalam upaya untuk mencegah krisisnya pernikahan dini di kalangan masyarakat maka peneliti mengkaji beberapa factor yang menjadi acuhnya masyarakat akan dampak negative terhadap remaja remaja dibawah umur. Metodologi yang digunakan dalam penelitian ini adalah metode Kuntitatif dengan analisis deskriptif dan regresi linier sederhana. Data dikumpulkan melalui penyebaran kuisioner dan studi kasus untuk memberikan gambaran yang komprehensif mengenai pengaruh normalisasi pernikahan dini terhadap kesiapan psikologi calon pengantin masyarakat pedesaan. Hasil analisis menunjukkan bahwa terdapat dampak yang signifikan antara normalisasi pernikahan dini terhadap kesiapan psikologi calon pengantin masyarakat pedesaan dalam nilai-nilai dan norma sosial ternyata mempengaruhi keberlangsungan kehidupan calon pengantin setelah menikah. Penelitian ini menemukan bahwa masyarakat harus lebih berfikir terbuka dan mengedepankan kehidupan anak dibawah umur dengan memberi edukasi dan pengarahan lebih mengenai pernikahan dini, dan mencari solusi lain dari selain terjadinya penyebab menikah pada usia muda.Kesimpulan dari penelitian ini menunjukkan bahwa pernikahan dini dipengaruhi oleh interaksi kompleks berbagai faktor sosial budaya, pendidikan, kepercayaan, dan psikologis. Norma dan tradisi yang mendukung, kurangnya kontrol orang tua, serta kesiapan psikologis calon pengantin memainkan peran penting. Penelitian ini menekankan perlunya pendekatan multidimensional dan program intervensi komprehensif untuk mencegah pernikahan dini dan meningkatkan kesiapan psikologis calon pengantin.
